The Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Duro Macut, arrived in Algiers on Monday evening for a working visit, leading a high-level delegation, according to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office.

Upon his arrival at Houari Boumediene International Airport, he was greeted by the Prime Minister, Mr. Sifi Ghrieb, accompanied by a ministerial delegation, as well as the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Lounès Magramane, and the Algerian Ambassador to Serbia, Mr. Mahraz Fatah.

This visit is part of the "strengthening of relations of friendship and cooperation between Algeria and the Republic of Serbia" and aims to "consolidate bilateral cooperation and broaden partnership prospects, particularly in the economic and investment fields," the same source said.

It also reflects "the political will of the leaders of the two countries, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and his Serbian counterpart, Aleksandar Vucic, to raise bilateral relations to higher levels and to strengthen coordination and consultation on issues of common interest".
