President of the Republic begins state visit to the Sultanate of Oman
MUSCAT — The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, begins Tuesday a state visit to the Sultanate of Oman, a brotherly country.
The visit of the President of the Republic to the Sultanate of Oman is part of bolstering the bonds of brotherhood, cooperation and consultation between the two brotherly countries.
The President of the Republic is expected to receive a formal welcome from his brother, the Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq at the "Al-Alam" Royal Palace in Muscat.
Following the formal welcome ceremony, the two parties will hold discussions to exchange views on several issues of the Ummah (Muslim world), particularly regional matters and current international affairs.
The talks will later include broader delegations from both countries.
The President of the Republic arrived Monday in the Sultanate of Oman, coming from the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt. He was welcomed upon his arrival at Muscat International Airport by the Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq.
President Tebboune met in Muscat with members of the Algerian community established in the Sultanate of Oman, continuing his tradition of engaging with the diaspora during his visits abroad to hear their concerns.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the community members in this brotherly country to voice their concerns, especially regarding investment, higher education and scientific research, and trade.
