Mr Attaf receives Japanese Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, received on Sunday, at the ministry’s headquarters, the Japanese Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hisashi Matsumoto, who is paying an official visit to Algeria.

This visit is part of the first session of the Algerian-Japanese Joint Economic Intergovernmental Committee, which was co-chaired by the Japanese Vice-Minister and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Lounès Magramane.

The meeting enabled to review the results of the Joint Economic Intergovernmental Committee and to reaffirm the importance of combining the efforts of both parties in order to breathe new life into the Algerian-Japanese partnership, particularly in economy, in line with the priorities and development objectives of both countries.

The two parties examined several current international and regional issues, at their head the developments of the Palestinian cause
