Mr Attaf holds a working session with his Singaporean counterpart

The State Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held Monday a working session with the Singaporean Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vivian Balakrishnan, as part of his official visit to the Republic of Singapore.
The working session enabled both sides to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of Algerian-Singaporean relations and explore ways to enhance them to broader perspectives, by making optimal use of the promising partnership and cooperation opportunities arising from the complementary assets and advantages that the two countries possess.
Both parties welcomed the successful partnership experiences in port management and the processing industry, agreeing to expand the framework of bilateral cooperation to priority areas for both countries, including industry across all sectors, agriculture, digitalization, start-ups, urban management, education and higher education.
The two ministers further exchanged views and analysis on several international and regional issues of mutual interest, particularly developments regarding the Palestinian cause, the current situation in the Middle East and developments in the Sahel-Saharan region.
