Attaf received in Cairo by the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, was received on Thursday in Cairo by the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, a brotherly country, Mr. Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, according to a statement from the ministry.
On this occasion, Mr. Attaf presented President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi with "a letter from the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune." He also conveyed "his fraternal greetings," while expressing "his desire to continue their joint efforts to elevate the relations of fraternity and cooperation between the two brotherly countries to broader horizons."
The meeting provided an opportunity to review "the positive dynamic in Algerian-Egyptian relations within the framework of the implementation of the conclusions of the 9th session of the Joint High Commission, held in Cairo last November, in particular the remarkable results achieved in strengthening the economic partnership, in accordance with the ambitious objectives set by the leaders of the two countries," the same source specifies.
The meeting also focused on "the prospects for continued coordination and consultation between the two parties regarding the main current issues at the Arab and African levels, particularly in their immediate vicinity of the brotherly State of Libya, in light of the regular meetings of the Algeria-Egypt-Tunisia Tripartite Mechanism," the statement concluded.
