Attaf received in Bern by the President of the Swiss National Council

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, was received on Thursday in Bern by the President of the Swiss National Council, Mr. Pierre-André Page, as part of his official visit to the Swiss Confederation, a statement from the ministry indicated.

The meeting made it possible to "review the different dimensions of the relations of friendship and cooperation between Algeria and Switzerland" and to "highlight the common political will to further energize them," the statement said.

The two sides also examined "ways to enable the Parliaments of both countries to contribute to efforts to strengthen the bilateral partnership, in particular through the activation of the various mechanisms offered by parliamentary diplomacy," the same source concluded.
