Attaf, acting on behalf of the President of the Republic, is making an official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt

Charged by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, of the National Community Abroad and of African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, arrived Wednesday evening in Cairo for an official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt, a brotherly country, according to a statement from the ministry.
The program for this visit includes "two main components: a bilateral component relating to Algerian-Egyptian relations and a trilateral component related to the Libyan crisis," the statement specifies.
Regarding the bilateral aspect, Mr. Attaf will speak with his Egyptian counterpart, Mr. Badr Abdelatty, and will be received by the high authorities of this brotherly country, the same source adds.
The Minister of State will also participate in the work of the ministerial meeting of the Algeria-Egypt-Tunisia Consultation Mechanism on Libya, alongside the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad, Mr. Badr Abdelatty, and the Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, the statement concludes.
