ARRIVAL OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC IN TINDOUF

The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, arrived on Thursday in the wilaya of Tindouf, where he will proceed, in the company of his brother the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, sister country, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, at the inauguration and laying of the first stone of a number of joint strategic projects between the two countries in this border region.

On his arrival at Tindouf Commandant-Ferradj airport, the President of the Republic, who was accompanied by the Chief of Staff of the People's National Army (ANP), Army General Saïd Chanegriha, listened to the the national anthem before reviewing detachments of the different ANP Forces, who paid him the honors.

The President of the Republic was welcomed at the airport by local civil and military authorities.
