Mr. Attaf holds bilateral talks with his Iranian counterpart

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held bilateral talks Monday in Jeddah with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, on the sidelines of the extraordinary session of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The meeting addressed developments of the situation in the Middle East amid the ongoing genocidal war against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

During the discussions, both ministers emphasized the need to continue mobilizing efforts within the OIC framework to pressure the international community to end Israeli aggression and achieve a final and just resolution to the Palestinian cause.
